Twitter is another social networking website. Its micro-blogging format allows users to post 140 character messages that are then shared with the user’s friends and associates. These same friends and associates can reply to these messages, also called tweets, that allow users to interact on different levels.
Again, this allows a business to be present in a venue where its existing clients or potential clients spend time and are possibly looking for partners or service providers. It is another way of increasing the businesses presence and reach, as well as establishing and defining its brand by providing the outside world with updates and news on the business.
